Café Nero

Quite a large project …. a series of full-sized boards which needed a continuous rust pattern spread across each board – which is now on show at Café Nero in Dublin airport.

The applicator had to devise a method of applying the oxidiser from board to board – keeping the oxidisation constant, and the pattern flowing from board to board.

The boards were coated off site – and assembled at the destination.

Impressive!

Rusty the Reindeer

Another project completed on one of our Training Courses. Rusty was supplied in one piece, constructed from MDF.

The full rust system was applied over the 2 days – using a textured sponge as the method of creating the patination with the oxidiser.

Here’s Rusty in his final resting place – a real Monarch of the Glen!

Staircase Surround

Carried out on site – this very individual design was finished in Real Rust – and looks every bit like heavy duty steel after years of exposure.

No need to wait for the elements to create this designer statement rust effect – you can be there in 2 -3 days!

Lettering

Looking equally impressive even when used on small objects…

In this case, the applicator sprayed the Real Rust base – and then applied the oxidiser with a combination of a small roller and a brush.
